HEAL Society: HEAL is a UK registered charity formed in 1992 – we are committed to providing shelter, support, education and health care to well over 1,000 children in India.
HEAL India was established in 1993 vide registration number 138/1993. The first project was started with the donation of his family home ‘Ankitha’ in Guntur to HEAL India to establish an orphanage. This first orphanage was home to 26 children for about five years, until the first custom-built HEAL Children’s Village was created in a nearby village. Today HEAL Children’s Village is a home and a health-care centre for 225 children, accompanied by 16 house mothers. HEAL USA (2008), HEAL Australia (2014), HEAL Spain (2015) and HEAL Canada (2020) were established in order to widen the HEAL family. The aim was to spread awareness and encourage more people to be involved in this laudable effort. There was a need to widen the sphere of contributors, offer opportunities to philanthropic minds to give a meaning to their concerns, develop further resources and attract donations to support the work of HEAL. Today, HEAL is an international charity, registered in each of these individual countries with tax exemption status. It is unique in comparison to most large charities in that HEAL is entirely run by volunteers. This means that there are NO administration costs, so the money received from donors goes directly towards the projects.

To aid them in acquiring knowledge and skills through holistic education so they may succeed in the modern world and pursue happiness through common good.

HEAL Paradise: Work is well underway on our biggest project to date – the construction of an eco-friendly children’s village, named ‘Paradise’, which will provide a home for 1,000 orphaned and underprivileged children from Andhra Pradesh and other parts of India.
The village will create a safe haven where children can be nurtured and realise their full potential, creating a self-sustaining and mutually beneficial community based on the pursuit of happiness through the common good. The village will also lead the way in construction, using recyclable materials and ‘green’ technologies for electricity, water, sewage and edible plantations.
Phase I of this major £6.85m development is nearing completion, with the secondary school, boys dorm, girls dorm already home to 602 children from deprived backgrounds. The skills development centre, preschool and primary school and Institute for the visually challenged, a health centre incorporating an artificial limb centre, visitors’ cottages, and a senior volunteers residence are now operational.
Phase II will include Indoor sports facilities, an admin block and Visitors Centre.
HEAL is urgently seeking donations for the staff quarters, vital in attracting good standard teaching staff, while there will be many new children arriving on campus soon, all needing sponsorship.

HEAL PARADISE BOARD MEMBERS
Chairman: P DHANA PRAKASH Dhana Prakash is managing director of Model Dairy, Model Milk Products and Venkata Sai Estates. He has donated one building named Pinnamaneni Dasaradha Ramaiah Senior Volunteer Residence worth Rs.1.2 Crore and an additional one acre of land to HEAL Paradise. He is donating milk worth of Rs.6 lakhs every year. As well as being an active member of HEAL India, he is a member of ALDA and the Krishna Industrial & Agricultural Exhibition Society.
Project Director: MV RANGA PRASAD Ranga Prasad is managing director of Coastal Consultant Services, experts in marine works and specializing in berth construction at ports. He joined HEAL family in 2011. He is looking after the construction activity at Heal Paradise.
HEAL CEO: Sri K.Ajaykumar Kurapati, IRS (Retd), CEO, Heal: He joined HEAL family in 2016 after his retirement as a PR.Commissioner of Income Tax. He is a full-time volunteer working 6 days a week.
Treasurer: YVS CHALAPATHI RAO Mr Rao is managing director of Pratap Industries, manufacturers of equipment and machinery for sugar factories and heavy machinery from 1kg to 25,000kg, including iron mouldings. They are leading suppliers in the south-west of India. He joined HEAL family in 2009. He is looking after Skill Development Centre activities.
PRO: Mr Paruchuri Naveen is an importer of marble and specializes in interiors and wooden flooring, most notably to the hotel trade. He is working as Communications Head of Heal Paradise.
Member: Mr Anne Siva Nageswara Rao is managing director of Sambasiva Industries, manufacturers of leaf springs and forged wheel bolts for the automobile industry. He joined HEAL family in 2010.
